BJC Madrichim Leadership Training
Madrichim is the Hebrew word for counselors and advisors.
Our Middle and High School Madrichim Leaders create and lead meaningful and educational programming for our younger community members on Shabbat and Holiday mornings, and serve as role models in the community for our youth throughout the year!
Shabbat Groups
Shabbat activities and Tefillah for children ages 2–18.
Pirkei Avot in the Park
Shabbat afternoons
Enjoy singing and learning with your kids (ages 2–10) in the park as we explore a different Mishnah from Pirkei Avot each week.NCSY
NCSY is the premier Jewish youth movement in the Bay Area, inspiring teens to embrace their heritage, build friendships, and grow as leaders. Under Eliezer Cohn’s direction, NCSY runs Shabbatons, social events, learning programs, Israel advocacy, and Jewish Student Union (JSU) clubs in public schools, giving teens a welcoming space to explore Judaism. Our flagship summer program, TJJ, takes teens to Israel for a transformative experience that sparks lifelong Jewish pride. Through JSU, TJJ, and local programs in Oakland, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, and San Francisco, NCSY is shaping the next generation of committed Jews.
