Gan Mah Tov Preschool
Gan Mah Tov Preschool
Gan Mah Tov is a warm and welcoming modern Orthodox preschool providing an immersive Jewish education coupled with a preschool curriculum based on best early childhood education practices.
At Gan Mah Tov, we provide two programs:
Infant and Toddler Program serves children 4 months to 2 years old.
Preschool Program is for children 2 years to 5 years old.
Our philosophy
At Gan Mah Tov we nurture the development of the whole child in the context of a cozy, immersive Jewish environment. Judaism teaches us “chanoch l'naar al pi darko,” teach each child according to his/her way. We celebrate each child’s uniqueness and see them as competent, curious and creative learners. Our program combines a play-based approach with child psychologist Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences and the Reggio Emilia approach to environmental design, use of documentation to make the learning process visible and belief that the environment serves as the 3rd teacher alongside parents and faculty. These educational approaches are recognized as Best Early Childhood Education practices and are supported by Developmentally Appropriate Practice.
