TU BSHEVAT
Check out the vibrant Tu BShevat Tree our BJC kids made!
While each child only got to see and make a small portion, even in these distant times the pieces can join together to make a beautiful mosaic. It will be on display at the Brick House (3718 Emerson Street) over the weekend, next door to the shul. Make it a destination on your Shabbos Walk!

Rabbi Shua Brick
Please help us give a warm welcome to Rav Shua Brick, who just arrived on Sunday and is joining our community as our Director of Family Learning.
Rabbi Brick’s role at Beth Jacob will involve reimagining youth engagement during this uncertain time, as well as planning for how we can continue to meet the needs of young families in the future. For those of you who loved the adult learning that Rabbi Brick brought to our community – don’t worry. He’ll continue to play an active role in our adult education program as well.
Rabbi Ezra Cohen
We benefited greatly from last year’s experience with Rabbi Shua Brick and look forward to welcoming Ezra Cohen to Beth Jacob as this year’s Rabbinic Intern.
Rabbi Ezra will join our community (either virtually or in real life) for approximately five weekends throughout the coming year, and spend time learning about the community rabbinate from Rabbi Albert. He is a third-year rabbinical student at Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary (YU), and has previously served as a rabbinic intern at Congregation Ohr Torah in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a talented educator with a passion for psychology and its relationship with Judaism, and is a close student of Rabbi Judah Dardik.
We look forward to learning from Reb Ezra as he gets to know our community!
