Beth Jacob Congregation has been a leading presence in the Oakland community for over 110 years. Our community takes great pride in its deep roots and is ever-evolving to best serve the needs of the members. Shabbat at Beth Jacob is more than just services; most weeks a lively sponsored kiddush follows services, giving members and visitors time to catch up and get to know each other.

We are committed to getting our children off on the right foot in life at our pre-school, Gan Mah Tov. Our Youth and Teen Programs provide fun and educational social activities for children K-12.

We also offer a robust series of adult education classes ranging from weekly Torah Class, Talmud and Study of Jewish Law to seminars on contemporary and scholarly subjects.
